Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Palum Dhara website and your purchase of products from us. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of Website

The Palum Dhara website is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may browse, purchase products, and use the site's features as intended. You agree not to:

  • Use the website for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the website.
  • Scrape, copy, or reproduce website content without our written permission.
  • Create accounts under false information or use another person's identity.

2. Orders

When you place an order on Palum Dhara, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products at the listed price. We accept your offer when we confirm your order via WhatsApp or email. We reserve the right to:

  • Reject or cancel any order for any reason.
  • Limit the quantity of products you may purchase.
  • Contact you to confirm or clarify order details before dispatch.

An order confirmation does not constitute acceptance. Your order is accepted only when we dispatch the products or send a written confirmation.

3. Pricing

All prices on Palum Dhara are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to change without prior notice. We make every effort to keep prices accurate, but errors may occur. In the event of a pricing error:

  • If you have already been charged, we will contact you before dispatch and offer you the option to cancel at the correct price or cancel the order entirely.
  • If you have not yet been charged, we will notify you of the correct price before processing your order.

Prices may or may not include applicable taxes. This will be clearly indicated at checkout. As a food business operating in India, we comply with all applicable tax regulations.

4. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability. We source directly from small growers and Self Help Groups, which means our supply is inherently limited — particularly for seasonal items like honey harvests and limited-batch teas. If a product you ordered is unavailable after you placed your order, we will contact you to offer a replacement or a full refund.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Palum Dhara website — including text, images, logos, product photography, and the Palum Dhara name and branding — is the property of Palum Dhara or its licensors and is protected by Indian copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission. You may not use our brand name or logos in any way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without our consent.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and current information when placing orders or creating an account.
  • Ensuring your contact details are correct so we can reach you about your orders.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Informing us promptly of any unauthorised access to your account.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Palum Dhara shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or your purchase of our products. Our total liability for any claim related to an order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

This limitation does not apply to claims involving fraud, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct, or to our obligations under consumer protection laws.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kangra District, Himachal Pradesh, India.

9. Dispute Resolution

We believe in resolving issues directly and fairly. If you have a complaint or dispute:

  • First, contact us on WhatsApp or email. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
  • If we are unable to resolve the matter within 30 days, you may escalate the complaint through the consumer dispute redressal mechanism under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
